Thomas Alva Edison
Edison is a seven-year-old boy. He attends the school in his own city Port Huron. Port Huron is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. He is not good at his studies. Hence, his friends are teasing him. Hence, making fun of him. After about six months, her teacher sends a letter to his mother with him. But, the boy does not know what is there in the letter.
Edison: Mom, what is written in the letter?
The news is shocking. His mother starts crying. There are tears in the eyes.
Mom: My boy, you are very intelligent. There are no good teachers to teach you. From tomorrow, you will not go to school.
Her mother teaches him at the home itself. He completes his schooling. Now he starts doing a job at the railway. Port Huron to Detroit. But, he wants to do something extraordinary. Therefore, he starts his laboratory at Menlo Park. Hard work, imagination & self-learning makes him an inventor. Thus, he invents first incandescent light. Thus, he proves to his school friends that he is a genius.
Thomas Alva Edison happens to get the letter. The letter of the teacher to his Mother.
He unfolds the letter. ‘Your son Thomas Alva Edison is addled. He is very poor in studies. Therefore, we cancel his admission’.
Edison remembers her mother with tears in eyes. Now he is a great scientist.
Sir Isaac Newton
It’s the year 1642. The place is a village Woolsthorpe. It is in the Lincolnshire district of England. Hannah gives birth to a child. Unfortunately, his father dies just before his birth. After three years, his mother marries a wealthy person & they move to another place. Newton is with his grandmother. Newton is very weak. Physically as well as mentally. His grandparents enrol him in a school. But, Newton is not so good at studies.
Meanwhile, his stepfather dies. Therefore, his mother asks him to look after the farm. Thus, he leaves the school. Start working as a farmer. But, farming is not at all his interest. He wants to fly in the sky with celestial bodies. He wants to see the heavenly bodies.
His uncle helps him & admits him in a school. This time, Newton gets top rank. Hence, he gets admission to Trinity College. Newton completes studies. His journey as a scientist starts from here. He gives the law of gravity & law of motion & much more to the world.
