Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur is the organising institute for JAM 2027
IIT Kharagpur declared the examination schedule for the year 2027. It is an online examination conducted every year. (computer-based test)
A student is supposed to choose a paper offered at their graduation level. The questions asked for assessment are all objective & are of the MCQ type.

- Biotechnology 2. Chemistry 3. Geology 4. Mathematics 5. Physics 6. Economics 7. Mathematical Statistics
Who can apply?
The candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree or are currently studying in the final year of an undergraduate programme are eligible to apply for the JAM 27 examination.
Important Dates

Examination- 14th February 2027
The result: 18th March 2027
Fees for females/SC/ST/PH are Rs 1000, whereas for all other categories Rs 2000.

Moreover, due to circumstances, if you cannot appear in this exam, you can prepare for the following year. However, the schedule remains more or less the same.
