Kavya is the wife of Captain Arjun. Captain Arjun serves in the armed forces. They have married recently. The government posted him in Kashmir after a few days of their marriage. Hence, Arjun leaves for Kashmir and joins his duty.
At present, Kavya is at his father’s house in Bangalore.
One afternoon, Captain Arjun was working at his office. There was a telephonic call. It was from his wife, Kavya.
‘Hello Sweaty, how are you?’
‘I am fine here, Arjun. How are you there? I am waiting for you. When are you coming here?’
‘It’s only after a month, dear. I shall come home and both of us will return to the beautiful valleys of Kashmir. Kashmir is a heaven on earth. I am allotted a luxurious quarter with many facilities.’
Kavya replies, ‘Hello dear, my sister Riya has returned from America. She could not attend our marriage because of the pandemic. She is keen to see you and meet you.’
‘Give love to my sister-in-law.’
Kavya’s mother interrupts. Thus, Kavya handover the mobile cell phone to her.
Arjun greets his mother-in-law. ‘Hello, mom. How are you? I am coming back after a month.’
‘We have arranged a great welcome ceremony for you by all family members. Thus, I hope you and all your relatives will enjoy this meeting. But, my son, bring some special gifts for Kavya. Choose and decide about the gift. Whatever it may be, but you have to gift it to Kavya at the time of your arrival at home.’
Arjun gladly replies, ‘O.K., mom. I know the likes and dislikes of Kavya very well. Surely, it will be a unique gift for her.’
Arjun ends the conversation.
After one month, he returns to his father’s in-law’s house in Bangalore. His car enters the corridor of the bungalow. He finds they decorated the house with colorful lights & beautiful flowers. The whole family is waiting for Captain Arjun.
‘Welcome home, captain.’ greets all in-laws & nearer ones.
Arjun is happy & surprised to see such a grand welcome party.
‘Now, dear Arjun, where is the gift? Please give it to Kavya.’ Says mom with a smile.
Arjun picks up a box from his bag & moves towards Kavya. But it seems one more Kavya rushes from the background.
Which is Kavya? It appears there are two. Of course, same dress, the same color, the same height, and similar behavior.
It is too difficult to say which one is his wife. Therefore, Arjun gets confused. He is uncertain about deciding what to do. But it’s great fun. Everyone wants the captain to proceed. Anyway, the captain gets defeated.
A baby child-Sonu from the neighboring house comes running & shouts, ‘Kavya Didi.’ Sonu embraces Kavya.
Hence, Arjun now handover the gift to Kavya, his wife.
Kavya and Riya are twins. It is difficult for people to distinguish which is Kavya & which is Riya.
